FLEYE has won a number of international design awards, most recently Eyewear of the Year 2014 (Japan) and a Red Dot honourable mention 2013 (Germany). The Red Dot was for the adjustable nose pads on FLEYE’s acetate glasses. The nose pads are on a single piece of flexible beta-titanium thread that gracefully loops through the nose bridge. The thread can be adjusted individually, to ensure a perfect fit for any.

September is "Save your sight" month, an eye health awareness campaign led by the New Zealand Association of Optometrists with the aim of promoting the value of early detection andprevention of eye problems.
Eyecare is important for health and wellbeing - even if a person is not experiencing any symptoms.
Some eye diseases can develop with no early warning signs making early detection a vital step in avoiding or limiting permanent damage to the eyes.
We know that people with poor vision have higher rates of depression, have more falls and fractures, have increased need for community and /or family support, and have earlier need for institutionalised care than people who can see well.
So, be proactive, recognise the significance of eye care ( the true value of eye sight) and book in today for a comprehensive eye examination.

The latest addition to our boutique range is a refreshing designer range of ophthalmic frames made from the finest materials; titanium, premium acetate and genuine buffalo horn.
The titanium range is made in Japan while the acetates are manufactured in Germany with all frames hand finished - a ceramic coating application to the titanium models with the acetates being hand polished.
